Queen's Park Book Festival Saturday 11 June

What do you mean - you haven't seen the posters? They're everywhere!

Or the billboard on Summerfield Avenue?

Or the pencils? Available in the bookshop and given out randomly in the street by the Festival Team

Programmes now on sale at Queen's Park Books, 87 Salusbury Road, £5 including a Festival Wristband for entry to any of the 16 author events (subject to space).

Other stuff going on includes composing a "chain novel" over the course of the day - we're hoping that everyone - authors included - will add a sentence and that we will then publish this local masterpiece digitally.

Maria Vlotides invites you to join her to compose a "coal hole cover poem". Sebastian Faulks is one of the writers who took part in Maria's project.

Her beautifully produced book is available at Queen's Park Books.

  1. Could not thank you enough for the blogposts on your web-site. I know you add a lot of time and energy into all of them and really hope you know how much I enjoy it. I hope I’ll do a similar thing person sooner or later. imp source
